The Grand Forks Border Bruins were shut out 5-0 by the Castlegar Rebels at Grand Forks Arena Thursday night.
Robert Dunsmuir was in net for Grand Forks stopping 35 of 40 shots and there were over 60 minutes in penalties handed out.
Following the Castlegar game, the Border Bruins embarked on a two-game road trip, losing 4-1 to the Beaver Valley Nitehawks on Friday and 7-2 to the Nelson Leafs on Saturday.
Border Bruins’ forward Kyle Dolly was named the third star in the three star selections in the Castlegar game.
