To get football fans excited for the upcoming season, the V.I. Raiders plan to “Raise a Little Hell”.
Nanaimo’s Canadian Junior Football League team is putting on a fundraiser event next month headlined by a Trooper concert.
The May 28 scholarship fundraiser at the Beban Park Social Centre will start with cocktails and a buffet dinner and end off with the Canadian rock band known for hits like “We’re Here For a Good Time (Not a Long Time)”.
