Home lane advantage helped three Vernon youth bowlers qualify for the annual YBC Provincial Finals.
Lincoln Lanes hosted the YBC Zone Single finals, featuring competitors from Vernon, Salmon Arm, Kelowna and Kamloops rolling off in three age groups: Bantams (eight-to-10-years-old); Juniors (11-14); Seniors (15-19).
Top bowler in each group advances to the provincial finals March 3 in Surrey/Port Coquitlam.

Chelsea Kazimer won the gold medal in the Bantam Girls division with a five-game total of 573 (129, 117, 123, 103, 101).
Zakk Hamilton pocketed gold in the Junior Boys division with a five-game score of 955 (203, 128, 182, 252, 190).
Aidan Buckley rolled games of 205, 259, 304, 236 and 247 for a 1,251 total, good for gold in the Senior Boys division, which featured Lincoln Lanes bowlers grabbing all three medals. Liam Arnold was second at 1,128 (255, 195, 233, 218, 227) and Colby Eisenhauer was third at 962 (165, 244, 187, 152, 214).
Charleigh Lemay was silver in the Junior Girls division with an 867 total for five games (140, 249, 149, 194, 135).
Nolan Blaeser and Alex Kazimer tied for third in Junior Boys with a five-game, 904 total. After a one-game tiebreaker, Blaeser claimed the bronze medal.
Rayne Hill won bronze in the Senior Girls class with games of 208, 139, 163, 192 and 195 for an 897 total.

Provincial winners will advance to the YBC National Championships in Oshawa, in May.
