The Sunday games were no better and Vernon had to settle for an 0-5 tournament, despite excellent games by both goaltenders, Matt Barber and Oscar Homeniuk, who kept the scores tight. There were some notable plays from several of the players, but it was never sustained by the whole team, and they just couldn’t generate enough offence as a result.
