Vernon’s Conner Kozak helped the UBC Thunderbirds to second place at the Otter Invitational Golf Tournament, hosted by CSU Monterey Bay at the Bayonet Course on Tuesday in Seaside, Calif.
Kozak (75-71-74, 220) and UBC teammate Evan Holmes (74-74-72) finished in a tie for third individually at plus-4, five shots behind Nova Southeastern’s Richard Mansell (71-71-73).
Kozak, a Seaton grad, had three birdie and five bogeys in his final round Tuesday.
Nova Southeastern, based out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., won the three-round tournament plus-21, five shots better than the Thunderbirds.
The Bayonet Course is a par 72 measuring 6,869 yards.
