Victoria Dreams soccer players Jeremiah Coutts, Julio Da Silva and Richard Clemens get pumped up to play in the finals of the Street Soccer Canada Western National Tournament in Vancouver on June 4-5.
The Dreams are the Victoria Street Soccer team, and placed second overall in the tournament, losing 1-0 in the finals to the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Jaguars.
Victoria Street Soccer is a non-profit for players who live or have lived on the street, are facing mental health or addiction issues.
Street Soccer Canada scouted the Western nationals and is looking to populate Team Canada for the 2011 Homeless World Cup in Paris, France, Aug. 21-28.
