Victoria Grizzlies’ goaltender Alec Dillon is among 34 North American-based goaltenders on the National Hockey League’s Central Scouting mid-term rankings list.
Dillon, a 6-5, 170-pounder 17 year old in his rookie B.C. Hockey League season, sat No. 26 on the list, released on Monday. He has a 17-3-2 record with a 2.32 goals against average and a .923 save percentage in 23 appearances this season.
Entering Monday play in the BCHL, the Grizzlies (27-9-3-2) were leading the Island Division with 59 points, one point better than Powell River (27-9-2-2), and tied for first overall in the league with the Langley Thunder and Penticton Vees.
The Grizzlies next game is this Friday at Bear Mountain Arena against the Prince George Spruce Kings. Game time is 7:15 p.m.
