The Abbotsford Pilots took a 2-0 series lead in their best-of-seven first round Pacific Junior Hockey League playoff series with a 5-3 win over the Langley Trappers on Friday.
The Pilots led 3-0 early into the second period, and managed to hold off a late surge from the Trappers to post the win.
Pilots goal scorers were: Jacob De Waal (two), Alexander Methorst (two) and Jamie Housch.
Game three goes down tonight (Saturday) at the MSA Arena. Face-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
