Beach volleyball has arrived at Abbotsford’s Tradex – well, kind of.
It may not be an ocean-side setting, but six competition beach volleyball courts were built outside of the facility earlier this month and until Labour Day it will be a top destination for those training in the sport.
Open Court, which operates 10 sports courts inside Tradex, will be hosting kids training camps, tournaments for adults and youth, evening leagues and more.
Programming for the courts began earlier today (Tuesday), with kids camps being run by Athletes in Action and the Junior Cascades Volleyball program.
