Both matches were played at a high pace with a physical presence.
Lakers coach Tony Ramsay said the players didn’t play to their full capabilities. They were also missing players for the second match.
“They could have played a lot better defensively,” said Ramsay.
In their win, the Lakers got off to a slow start, but worked hard for a strong second half finish.
Mission coach Harpreet Grewal said the two games were fun.
“Just to get out and start playing lacrosse again, that was good,” said Grewal, who coaches a blended team with high school and academy palyres. “It took us a while to get adjusted. Once we got adjusted it was pretty good. They have got some good players on that team.”
