The Vernon Vipers open the B.C. Hockey League playoffs Tuesday night on the road.
Whether it’s in Penticton or West Kelowna depended on Saturday night games.
The Vees and Warriors went into their final regular-season games tied for first place.
Penticton hosted the Salmon Arm SilverBacks, who finished fifth in the Interior Division, while West Kelowna entertained the last-place Trail Smoke Eaters.
If both the Vees and Warriors won Saturday night, the Vees would earn top spot by virtue of one more win.
Third-place Vernon would thus face the Warriors starting Tuesday night at Royal LePage Place. Game 2 is Wednesday at RLP.
The third and fourth games of the first-round best-of-seven series go Friday and Saturday night at Kal Tire Place.
