The second annual Vernon Vipers Tee Off for KidSport tournament goes Sunday, Aug. 24 at The Rise Golf Club.

Entry fee is $160 per player and you receive 18 holes with a power cart, tee gift, dinner and prizes and a ticket to the Vipers-Penticton Vees pre-season B.C. Hockey League game on Saturday, Aug. 30 at Kal Tire Place.

“KidSport will have the 50/50 proceeds at the game but the silent auction will be at the golf tournament only,” said Lee Ranger, head pro at The Rise.

The tournament is a Texas Scramble format, including Vipers players and coaches and celebrity guests. It will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Contact The Rise at 250-545-7425 to register.

Net proceeds will be shared by KidSport Vernon, a charitable arm of Sport B.C. which has distributing money to underprivileged children that could not afford to play.

Title, corporate and major sponsor packages are also available. They all include rounds of golf at The Rise and Viper game vouchers for the upcoming season.
