Vancouver Island University’s gym was packed this past weekend with the coming class of volleyball talent.
The annual VIU Mariners men’s volleyball Thanksgiving weekend high school boys’ volleyball tournament was held Friday and Saturday, attracting 17 senior teams and six junior squads.
“This year’s tournament [had] its best senior boys numbers of all time which we are extremely excited to see the tournament continue to grow,” said Abe Avender, coach of the VIU men’s volleyball team, in a press release.
