The North Island Volleyball Referees’ Association (NIVRA) is hosting a Level 1 (local) clinic on Oct. 13.
The location is to be determined, but it will be in Comox/Courtenay, a spokesperson said. “The season is about to start and this your opportunity to become a ref. This clinic is also great for new volleyball coaches to learn more about the game and its rules.”
Costs are as follows: one cheque for $25 for the clinic, one cheque to Volleyball BC for $75.48 for registration and a referee’s badge.
The clinic will run most of the day Saturday so bring
a lunch and yes there is an exam. Reply by e-mail to Jake Plante at jakeplante34@gmail.com no later than Oct. 10. Questions may also be addressed there.
