The Castlegar Rebels defeated the Grand Forks Border Bruins 5-0 Thursday night in KIJHL action at the Grand Forks Arena.
Veteran forward Andrew Walton led the Rebs with a goal and two assists, while teammate Jamie Vlanich scored a pair of goals. Other scorers for Castlegar were Jeremy McGregor and Dylan Sibbald.
Connor Beauchamp picked up the shut-out in net for the Rebels, stopping 26 GF shots.
Castlegar hosts Sicamous on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Community Complex.
