After winning their first two games in Victoria, the North Island Wild Ravens U12 field lacrosse team continued their hot streak on the Robron Field in Campbell River this past Sunday.
The Wild Ravens played two games against the Parksville Buccaneers and took the lead early on in both, winning 19-6 in the first game and 19-2 in the second game.
“The team played with lots of enthusiasm and demonstrated great sportsmanship,” a team spokesperson said. “Come and watch this young group of athletes compete for a place in this year’s provincial playoffs.”
The Wild Ravens play at the Cowichan Sportsplex in Duncan this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and they are back playing in Campbell River on Oct. 21 at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the Robron Field.
