The Abbotsford Pilots picked up four of a possible six points last week in junior B hockey action.
The local squad began the week on a deflating note, blowing a 3-0 first-period lead en route to a 5-4 overtime loss on the road vs. the Aldergrove Kodiaks. Elvis Jansons notched the OT winner for the Kodiaks, while Jarrett Martin, with a goal and an assist, paced the Abby offence.
The Pilots bounced back with a 4-1 victory over the Mission City Outlaws on Friday at MSA Arena, with Austin Edwards, Braeden Monk, Brady Lawlor and Eric Wieking supplying the goals.
On Saturday, the Pilots out-shot the last-place Port Moody Panthers 43-26, but were limited to a 2-2 draw. Abbotsford needed third-period goals from Kolten Grieve and Kellan Lavallee to salvage the single point.
The Pilots (17-9-4) are off until Jan. 3, when they host the Delta Ice Hawks (7:30 p.m., MSA Arena).
