BOUQUET: We want to thank the Sabhai Thai Langford team for their consistent excellence in all aspects of the service they provide. We have been so impressed with how they have coped with the challenges throughout the pandemic and have been very happy to support their efforts. We are always greeted cheerfully on the phone when placing our order and in person when we pick up our food –which is consistently excellent! We are never disappointed. A special shout out and thank you to Sam who always remembers our favourite order of chicken cashew (med/hot) with rice. She is a gem and we so appreciate her warm, welcoming and generous spirit. Thanks Sam, you recently made a birthday meal even more special with your very kind thoughtfulness.

BEEF: To the Malahat Skywalk. The Skywalk, just off the Trans Canada Highway, is a new modernistic, breathtaking, and majestic outdoor experience on Vancouver Island. However, the Skywalk offers one shortcoming. There is no problem reaching the entrance to the Skywalk driving south on the Trans Canada Highway from Victoria. However, you must turn right (north) onto the Trans Canada Highway and drive to the nearest U-turn available at Butterfield Road, for the turn to make your way back to Victoria. That U-turn north is seven kilometers away, adding an extra 14 km to your commute. First-time travellers to the Skywalk should be aware of this.

BOUQUET: Kudos and many thanks to the CRD work crews who so quickly and efficiently clear the Galloping Goose trail of the fallen trees and debris from the trail after our frequent wind storms of late. Their hard and sometimes dangerous work keeps the trail safe for all of us who enjoy and regularly use the trail.
