The Houston Figure Skating club out did themselves with their on point organization, and the catering was just divine.

The Houston curling rink officially opened on Oct. 30, 1976 and this year members of the curling club and volunteers came together to renovate it for its fortieth year. Northern Development Initiative funded approximately $27,000 which went into renovating the old kitchen, installing a ramp for accessibility, make improvements upstairs, replacing the previous humidifier, and repainting the walls in the rink which Monster Industry volunteered time and donated their paint sprayer to do. The projected started in June and with the collaboration of all the various volunteers, it was just completed in time for this year’s curling season.
