On Thursday (September 27), the Columbia Valley detachment responded to a single vehicle roll over on Highway 95/93 near George Anderson Road in Edgewater. The driver, age 25 from Wasa, was southbound in a 2007 Dodge Ram when he was distracted briefly while attempting to clear something from his eye and the vehicle drifted. When the driver overcorrected, he lost control and entered into the northbound ditch and rolled. The passenger, age 25 from Kimberley, and the driver received minor injuries and were taken to the Invermere & District Hospital.
