In celebration of surpassing US $300 million milestone in charitable giving, Newman’s Own Foundation announced it will give away more than $500,000 (U.S.) in grants to more than 30 Canadian charities, many of them in B.C.
The funds will support diverse needs such as children with life-limiting conditions, hunger and nutrition.
The Surrey Women’s Shelter will receive $20,000.
