A series of agricultural hands-on workshops are planned for Harmonious Homestead and ewe between March 10 and June 16.
They are designed for those who already have livestock and also those wishing to learn more with a view to buying animals. Lessons will be held in Mount Ida Hall and participants will have the opportunity to work with livestock in the farmyard.
Classes will cover nutrition, health, housing, grazing, reproduction and working with nature to keep costs down and profits up, while building soil fertility and treading lightly on the Earth.
