Christina Vinters believes divorce doesn’t have to destroy your family and your savings.
The Vernon resident has written a new book called Pathways to Amicable Divorce: Directions for the Beginning of Separation that helps readers make decisions during separation that will increase the likelihood of a healthy divorce.
Vinters, a family law mediator and former divorce lawyer, says she’s seen first-hand the mistakes that even well-meaning people tend to make out of fear or lack of information during separation.
“These mistakes often send people down the undesired path of court proceedings, deteriorating relationships, strained parenting abilities and escalating legal fees. I wrote this book because I wanted people to have easy access to information that would help them avoid the pitfalls of a stereotypical divorce battle.”
