Tomorrow (Sept. 27) Minister of State for Tourism and Small Business Naomi Yamamoto and Canadian Federation of Independent Business executive vice-president Laura Jones will host a noon-hour Twitter town hall with British Columbia small business representatives.
The goal: to explore what government can do to cut red tape for small business.
Small business owners and employees, CFIB and Chamber of Commerce members and others are encouraged to join the Twitter conversation and let government know what they think the province government should do to break down barriers for small businesses.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, identify challenges with government services and processes, and provide advice on how these services and processes could be improved. Feedback from this conversation will help inform government’s efforts to make it easier to conduct business in B.C.
