Canucks’ Linden makes Peninsula appearance

Trevor Linden, new president of the Vancouver Canucks, makes appearance at opening for Orangetheory Fitness in South Surrey last weekend.

Former Vancouver Canucks captain Trevor Linden has been in the news an awful lot in recent days, after being tabbed by his former NHL team to take over as president of hockey operations.

But despite his newly jam-packed schedule – Linden has already referred to his new gig as “more than a fulltime job” – the 44-year-old hockey icon made time to attend a pre-opening event for Orangetheory Fitness at Peninsula Village in South Surrey April 13.

Linden, who is a co-owner and spokesperson for Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness, is also a part-owner of the Orangetheory franchise in B.C.
