Surrey companies and businesspeople were among those honoured last week at the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association Awards of Excellence banquet, which was held at Coquitlam’s Executive Plaza Hotel.
Surrey-based FortisBC was named corporate member of the year, while Graeme Huguet of My House Design/Build Team Ltd. was honoured as RenoMark Renovator Member of the Year. Peter Simpson, president and CEO of the GVHBA, was also honoured with the Chairman’s Award of Honour.
