There is a demand in Langley for luxury cars and that’s why Infiniti made the move to the Open Road auto mall, said Open Road Infiniti general manager Roger Bhajan.
“We tested the market and there is a big demand for Infiniti vehicles out here,” said Bhajan. The Langley Bypass location will serve customers from Surrey and White Rock to Langley and as far as Abbotsford, he said.
Many of his customers from his former locations in Port Moody and Vancouver have followed him to Langley, he said.
Infiniti, with its six-car sleek and artsy showroom and 18,000 square foot boutique-style dealership, joins BMW, Mini and Audi at the Langley Open Road luxury auto mall which opened in 2011.
Porsche is expected to be the next to join the Langley Open Road Group. Sales of high-end vehicles are doing well in Langley and Infiniti is too, since they moved in last summer.
Infinity luxury cars are known for their inspired V6 performance, said Bhajan who has been in the business for 22 years.
“They offer a lot of horse power,” he said. But here’s where the Infiniti gets really fun, in the technology it offers, making you feel like you are driving a Bond car.
Their bestseller is their luxury, seven passenger SUV, the JX35.
Imagine advanced cruise control that actually won’t let you wander into another lane. The car will actually correct your driving.
When backing up, the car intuitively will apply the brake for you so you don’t hit whatever is behind you.
The vehicle is equipped with 360 degree advanced cameras at the top of all four sides of the car, allowing the driver to see from all corners when backing up or moving.
But that’s not all.
When you buy the JX35, you get your own personal concierge.
“It’s called Infiniti Connect Live. You can press a button and tell a real person to make reservations for you at a restaurant,” said Bhajan. Then your concierge will load the directions to the restaurant into your navigation system.
Infiniti, like BMW and the other dealerships at Langley Open Road, offers a full service department with technicians specially trained to service Infiniti vehicles.
Luxury doesn’t cost as much as some would think. A 2013 G37x AWD Sedan sells for around $45,000.
They also sell pre-owned Infinities.
