DLBA launches new website

Every downtown business represented on new website with their own unique page

Looking for specific products, businesses and services in the downtown Langley core should be easier thanks to a new website.

The Downtown Langley Business Association unveiled its new website as well as the board of directors at the annual general meeting held at the Summit Theatre Show Lounge at Cascades Casino.

The new website is www.downtownlangley.com.

“Every business within the (Business Improvement Association) is represented on this website with their own page, outlining their unique products and services,” said chairman Craig Davies.

“The range of stores in the downtown is truly remarkable.”

Langley City Mayor Peter Fassbender also spoke at the AGM.

“We are delighted to have a close working relationship with the DLBA and as we work toward the future plans for the City, we intend to develop both a comprehensive, directional signage program to get people into the downtown,” he said. “We are also committed to see redevelopment enhance what is already a great downtown.”

The new board consists of Craig Davies (Design One Graphics Group), Heather Jenkins (1 Fish 2 Fish), Karla Barton (McBurney Lane Furniture and Interiors), Sonya Perkins (Forever Yours Lingerie), Helene Causton (Choo Choos Restaurant), Carol Ward (Westminster Savings), Doedy Reisler (Cascades Casino), Jaye Lyonns (Tribal Spirit Gallery), Kevin Staples (Scotia Bank), Carrie Thachuk (The Passionate Home) and Bob Foster (Krazy Bob’s Music Emporium).
