Mission’s downtown merchants are hosting a customer appreciation sale Thursday night, and are inviting residents to come down to First Avenue.
According to Mission Downtown Business Association president Carlo Billinger, with the influx of new people to the community over the past number of years, many Missionites don’t realize the scope and breadth of what local merchants carry.
“Everyone will have treats in their stores,” and some of the restaurants and retailers will be offering specials, said Billinger, who co-owns Rex Cox Men’s Wear.
The annual event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 21.
