First West Credit Union has appointed Susan Ewanick as president of its Valley First and Enderby and District Financial divisions.
Ewanick will lead a team of close to 300 First West employees across the Valley First region which extends from Kamloops to Princeton and throughout the Okanagan. This leadership change follows the retirement of Paulette Rennie.
“The teams at Valley First and Enderby and District Financial have made such a positive and lasting impact on the communities and the people they serve,” said Ewanick.
“The level of commitment to both member service and community building is inspiring.”
Ewanick, who re-joined First West May 31, previously served at Valley First from 2013/14 as vice-president of banking and insurance.
She returns to First West with 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles in the financial services industry.
Most recently, Ewanick was part of HSBC’s national executive team.
