Film crews to limit promenade access

Psych filming will re-route pedestrian traffic from the promenade side of the White Rock Museum to the front of the museum Oct. 2.

Visitors to White Rock’s waterfront may get Psych-ed out Tuesday, as filming of the television series will limit promenade, pier and washroom access from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

GEP Productions Inc. has been given permission to re-route pedestrian traffic from the promenade side of the White Rock Museum to the front of the museum between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 2.

From 1-6:30 p.m., there will be no access to the pier for pedestrians walking from East Beach to the white rock; and, the pier-head washrooms will not be available to the public during this time.

While “rolling,” production assistants will re-direct and stop foot traffic until each shot is completed, a notice on the city’s website states.
