The finalists have been announced for the fifth annual Surrey Women in Business Awards, hosted by the Surrey Board of Trade.
In the category for entrepreneur, Susan Bains of Holistic HR, Tracy Bell of La Belle Fleur Floral Boutique and Chandra Blouin and Sherry Jacobi of Studiothink have been nominated.
Tara Britness of Hamilton Duncan Armstrong & Stewart, Penny Meadows of CIBC Imperial Service and Mary Jane Wilson of Wilson Rasmussen LLP have all been named in the professional category.
Not-for-profit leaders were also honoured, with NightShift Street Ministries Society’s MaryAnne Connor nominated, as well as Surrey Crime Prevention Society’s Karen Reid Sidhu and DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society’s Neelam Sahota.
Rounding out the list of finalists are Catherine Jacobs of McQuarrie Hunter LLP, Kathy McGarrigle of Coast Capital Savings and Janette Richardson of Eaglequest Golf Coyote Creek, who are all nominees in the corporate/leadership category.
The winners will be announced March 12 at a luncheon held at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel, 15269 104 Ave.
