The former CEO of Nanaimo Economic Development Corporation has taken on a new role as CEO of Hyas, an information security firm.
Sasha Angus resigned his post earlier this year, citing commitments that will move his family to Victoria. He takes over at Hyas on Oct. 2.
“Sasha’s successful background in growing start ups and proven ability to attract capital from around the globe will propel Hyas and our world-class infosec technology into a major industry player,” said Chris Davis, founder and chief technology officer, in a press release.
Founded by a team of security researchers, analysts, and entrepreneurs, Hyas is developing the next generation of information technology solutions for small and medium sized businesses.
