Former MLA Falcon given Surrey Board of Trade appointment

Falcon, who served as B.C.’s minister of health and minister of transportation, will assist the SBOT with special projects

Former Surrey-Cloverdale MLA Kevin Falcon has been named an honourary director of the Surrey Board and Trade.

Falcon, who served as B.C.’s minister of health and minister of transportation during his 12 years in office, will assist the SBOT with special projects and “provide advice on the Surrey Board of Trade advocacy initiatives and position papers,” according to a news release.

“I am pleased an honoured that the Surrey Board of Trade has provided me an honorary director’s appointment and I look forward to working together with them,” Falcon said.

Falcon currently serves as executive vice-president with Anthem Capital.
