Georgie finalists announced

South Surrey/White Rock projects in the running for annual homebuilder awards.

A host of South Surrey and White Rock developments are in the running for homebuilding awards that recognize the industry’s “outstanding commitment to quality and professionalism.”

The 24th Annual Georgie Awards will be presented next March 11, with winners in 44 categories celebrated during a black-tie gala at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Vancouver.

One White Rock project, Forge Properties’ Royce, is a finalist in seven categories: Best Multi-Family Low Rise Development; Best Interior Design Display Suite; Best Landscape Multi-Family; Best Outdoor Living Space Multi-Family; Best Advertising Campaign; Best Corporate Website; and Grand Georgie Awards: Residential Community of the Year.

Zenterra Developments’ Hyde Park Phase 1, in South Surrey, is a finalist in seven categories: Best Townhouse Development, Best Multi-Family Kitchen, Best Landscape Multi-Family, Best Project Identity, Best Sales Centre, Grand Georgie Awards: Marketing Campaign of the Year, and Grand Georgie Awards: Residential Community of the Year; while Zenterra Developments itself is in the running for Grand Georgie Awards: Multi-Family Home Builder of the Year.

Other South Surrey/White Rock finalists include StreetSide Developments Ltd. (South Point Walk), Castlehill Homes Ltd. (Sakura Morgan Heights), Jaheny Custom Builders Ltd. and My House Design/Build Team.

The awards are open to all members of the Canadian Home Builders’ Assciation of BC, for projects built, renovated, developed, created and marketed throughout the province between Jan. 1, 2014 and Sept. 30, 2015.
