Gold’ N Time Jewellery has a new home in downtown Vernon.
Store owners Fareed and Ziba Lor have relocated from the Sun Valley Mall to the other end of 30th Avenue, near Nolan’s Pharmasave.
“The biggest thing was that Fareed can do his repairs in the store now. The old store didn’t give us enough space,” said Ziba.
Fareed is a goldsmith and a watchmaker, and Ziba is a gemologist. Ziba can make appraisals on site as well.
“We love the new location, hopefully we get a bunch of new followers now,” said Ziba.
An opening ceremony was recently held.
“We appreciate everyone who came down here. It is a celebration for us and we wanted to share it,” said Fareed.
The Lors moved to Vernon from Airdrie Alta. 10 years ago.
“We love the area,” said Ziba.
