A groundbreaking ceremony for Englewood Courtyard is set for 1 p.m. on August 10 on Keith Wilson Road.

Local dignitaries and residents have been invited the launch event for the unique condo development.

Englewood Courtyard, part of Englewood Village, is aimed at retirees 45+ who are looking for high-quality construction, built to SAFER home standards, in a friendly and picturesque neighbourhood near the Vedder River.

The name of a winning Chilliwack charity will also be revealed at the groundbreaking event, as the recipient of a $500 donation from each of the first 40 homes sold in Englewood Courtyard, for a total of $20,000.

The weekend includes a special offer of $25,000 off the purchase price of the first 10 units sold on floors one to four.

Dignitaries at the groundbreaking event will include Tzeachten Chief Glenda Campbell, Chilliwack MLA John Martin, Chilliwack Councillor Chuck Stam and more.
