Ron Van Zanden was the big winner of the Nelson Star/Uptown Tavern regular season National Hockey League hockey pool. Last week Van Zanden picked up his cash prize for his supreme hockey knowledge. On hand for the cheque presentation were Graham Mackenze, Uptown Tavern; Van Zanden; Danny Rickaby, Uptown Tavern and Karen Bennett, Nelson Star.
