Langford wellness studio up for B.C. award

Small Business B.C. winners to be announced in February

A Langford wellness centre is among 11 Greater Victoria businesses nominated for the Small Business B.C. Awards.

Pure ELLEments Wellness in Langford is nominated in the Premier’s Peoples Choice Awards category.

Other regional businesses nominated in one or more categories include Active Ingredient Coaching, Adedia, BRIJ Marketing, DeeBee’s SpecialTea Foods, E-Quick, E-Quick eco-Courier, Picture This .today, Sapphire Day Spa Ltd., Wildwood Outdoor Living Centre and Your Perfect Gift.

A key part of the Small Business B.C. Awards’ mission is to celebrate the contributions of new and existing businesses registered in B.C., that have than 50 employees. Award recipients will receive a $1,500 cash prize, along with a one-year, all-access pass to Small Business B.C. education resources and experts, and one-on-one business mentorship opportunities with notable advisors from award sponsors.

Online nominations ended Nov. 30. Businesses with the most votes in each award category will be announced as the top 10 on Dec. 11. Judges will determine the top five based on a detailed application from the nominees. The top five will then be invited to present a 10-minute Dragons’ Den-style pitch to the judges to present themselves as one of B.C.’s best.
