A busy day at a Brookswood bakery resulted in a $3,000 donation for Cops for Cancer.

On June 7, as part of the Brookswood Days celebration, Cedarbrook Bakery donated half of the day’s purchases to the charity.

And as part of the day’s events, Surrey Const. Alexander Levesque and Const. Marcus Pickett volunteered their time, with Pickett letting kids and adults alike see and sit in his police vehicle.

Both Levesque and Pickett will be riding in this year’s Cops for Cancer event, which takes place from Sept. 22 to 30.
