A Vernon business is expanding its operations.
Big D Products, a wholesaler of equine products, has formed a partnership with Noble Outfitters, of Modesto, Calif., which is Vernon’s sister city.
“Noble Outfitters is a major U.S. distributor of many categories, including apparel, footwear, socks, gloves, bags and tools,” said Darryl O’Brian, president of Big D Products.
“The partnership will allow us to access a wide variety of rider apparel and accessories in addition to our recognized lines of equine products.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be associated with such a like-minded company and we will continue to work to create products that exceed our customers’ needs, quality and function.”
According to O’Brian, the new relationship will mean some changes locally for the business.
“Staff size is expected to increase with a fall move to a new 20,000-square-foot distribution centre,” he said.
“We will continue delivering exceptional value across a broader line of products including an expanded line of English and western riding apparel. The Noble Outfitters product line will be available for fall delivery.”
