Anthony Bastiaanssen  is the new president of the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board.

Anthony Bastiaanssen is the new president of the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board.

Leadership has changed within the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board.

Anthony Bastiaanssen was elected president recently for 2016/17, along with 10 directors from the North Okanagan, Central Okanagan and the Shuswap.

“I am honored that my fellow realtors have entrusted me with this role,” said Bastiaanssen, a realtor located in West Kelowna.

“I look forward to continuing the board’s work to support realtors to deliver exceptional value to consumers while furthering the real estate profession as a whole.”

Bastiaanssen has been an OMREB member for 10 years.

He has also been a director since 2014 and vice-president for the past year.

For the coming term, the vice-president is Tannis Read while directors are Marv Beer, Dave Favell, Kim Heizmann, Bill Hubbard, Derryanne Hubbard, Michael Loewen and Brent Pay.
