Vernon’s Original Joe’s Restaurant and Bar, in partnership with Shock Top, will raise funds for the SPCA.
OJ’s community pint program, part of its overall Community Care Fund, provides locations the opportunity to fundraise for an organization of its choice.
Fifty cents from a featured pint is donated to the cause.
Between now and Sept. 30, Original Joe’s and Shock Top, a traditional Belgian-Style wheat ale, will each donate 25 cents to the B.C. SPCA for every Shock Top pint sold at OJ’s locations.
“The community pint program is our way of solidifying a sense of unity and co-operation among the communities in which our locations serve,” said Elena Remoundos Original Joe’s marketing and communications manager.
“We really identify with each of the organizations and we are excited to be supporting them.”
