Moksha Yoga officially opened their doors and what a great space they have. They used salvaged wood from the old Mayfair Lanes bowling alley for all of their benches and vanities. Rugby Canada continues hosting the IRB Americas Rugby Championship with match doubleheaders at Westhills Stadium tonight (Oct. 15) starting at 6 p.m. and Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m. Grab your tickets at City Centre Park or Spank-it-Sports (cash only) or at Tourism Victoria.

Skookum Skillz – Pacific Centre Family Services Association operates a free 12 week employment skills and training program for youth ages 16 to 22. They participate in the operation of Skookum Café which is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. offering fresh, delicious food and beverages. They are located at 345 Wale Rd.
On Wednesday night the Westshore Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. at Darcy’s Pub located at 737 Goldstream Ave. beside Akemi Sushi.
Coast Collective is hosting its inaugural Black and White Fundraiser Ball on Oct. 17 at Olympic View Golf Course. Tickets can be purchased at the Coast Collective, 3221 Heatherbell Rd. or through their website at coastcollective.ca.
