Oyama Zipline Forest Adventure has added another ride to its seven-station zipline course in Lake Country.
This brings the total number of ziplines to 11 and three of these lines travel parallel to each other so guests can zipline at the same time as their friend.
“Our racing lines have been a huge attraction,” said owner Peter Madsen.
“The newest zip ride is also a double line. It is part pendulum, part bungy and the most unique zipline ride around. We call it the Boomerang Line.”
The Boomerang Line has a big ‘belly’ in the center.
Riders will build speed going down the first half of the zipline then travel uphill on the second half of the ride, then reverse and boomerang back towards where they started. The riders will be on the zipline longer, zipping back and forth several times. You and your partner will pass each other several times while you both zip the halfpipe.
To reach the take-off platform for this newest addition to the zip park, participants ascend a new Burma Bridge.
“With more companies entering the local marketplace, we wanted to make sure our zip park had the most variety for locals and tourists to experience,” said Jennifer Madsen, co-owner.
“We have two other rope bridges in the tour but this new Burma Bridge is an exciting crossing to a tower above the trees.”
