Choices Market and Mountainview Wellness Centre joined forces earlier this month to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the South Surrey grocery store and raise money for prostate cancer awareness in the bargain.
On Saturday, Sept. 17, a pancake breakfast – featuring blueberry-flax pancakes – raised $1,465 for Prostate Cancer Canada; the amount was triple last year’s total.
In addition to breakfast, there was a “spin and win” wheel, with many prizes up for grabs.
