A local birth doula and childbirth educator is launching a new series of prenatal classes in South Surrey.
Charissa Martin said Alongside Family Support Services will offer “a meaningful and intimate prenatal experience” for expectant parents.
Classes are to begin this spring in a newly constructed studio at 15316 29A Ave. The six-hour boot-camp-style sessions will cover topics including physiological normal birth, healthy birth practices and postpartum strategies.
