South Surrey dentist honoured

South Surrey dentist, Dr. William Liang, received a Distinguished Service Award on March 8 in Vancouver.

A South Surrey dentist has been honoured for “outstanding and broad contributions to the profession.”

Dr. William Liang received a Distinguished Service Award at the College of Dental Surgeons of BC’s annual awards ceremony on March 8 in Vancouver.

In announcing the award, college officials described Liang as “a committed CDSBC volunteer and mentor to members of the dental profession in the field of oral implantology,” who has made “a considerable contribution” to the regulatory body’s committees since 1996.
