Employees at Barnes Wheaton Autogroup – including Barnes Wheaton GM South Surrey – got into the holiday spirit this month, collecting and delivering truckloads of food to the Surrey Food Bank.
After collecting donations from staff and customers – estimated at 3,000 pounds of food and $5,000 – the Barnes Wheaton team filled two half-ton trucks with food, and made the delivery on Dec. 22.
In total, Barnes Wheaton has donated more than $12,000 and 7,500 pounds of food to the Surrey Food Bank in recent years.
