Summit takes on new name

Summit Environmental Consultants will now be known as Associated Environmental Consultants.

There’s a new name for a company with a Vernon presence.

Associated Engineering has announced that its subsidiary, Summit Environmental Consultants, will now be known as Associated Environmental Consultants.

In 2010, Summit, which has an office in Vernon, joined the Associated Engineering group of companies.

“Bringing our firms closer together under one name reflects the success of our merger, as well as our desire to be the one company that our clients know to deliver creative solutions and uncompromising service,” said Kerry Rudd, president.

Established 70 years ago, Associated Engineering has 900 employees in 21 offices across Canada.

“When our firms merged five years ago, it was immediately clear that we share similar culture and values, which has been integral to our collective success,” said Brent Phillips, Associated Environmental Consultants general manager.

“Our name change reflects our pride in being part of the Associated Engineering family.”
